King Donald Trump And Putin-Style Election Fraud

When the GOP members of the Senate vote to acquit Trump, they will effectively crown him king of the United States. King Donald Trump.

He will be able to do whatever he wants without negative consequence.

Of all the ridiculous arguments the Trump lawyers offered this week, “Leave it to the voters to decide” is the most ridiculous. We can assume fairly confidently that the elections held in November 2020 will not be free or fair.

Trump and his cronies will likely commit a variety of acts to create fraudulent election results. For example, they will be able to rig voting computer programs and pay off voting precinct captains and other people in the voting process infrastructure. They will conceivably do these types of things to demand that precinct captains report false vote totals so that he “wins” reelection.

Not Only The Presidential Race

Lest you think that voting all the corrupt GOP senators out of office is a solution to this problem, it is not. Please understand that the King Donald Trump people will commit the same types of election fraud in the down-ballot races for senators and representatives as in the chief executive contest.

The rule of law in the United Stares will soon be all but completely dead. As a result, United States elections will probably feature Putin-style election fraud. And this will probably happen in the next few months.

You may remember that Putin won re-reelection in 2018 in a “landslide.”

According to The Atlantic, “Vladimir Putin, Russia’s longest-serving ruler since Joseph Stalin, surprised no one with his landslide re-election on Sunday. While his victory, in which he claimed 73.9 percent of the vote according to state-run exit polls, was a foregone conclusion, the Kremlin was reportedly anxious about turnout, and conducted an elaborate, well-financed get-out-the-vote campaign. For an authoritarian regime in which election results and turnout are pre-ordained, such concerns may seem odd. But even in Russia’s “managed democracy,” appearances still matter, and the Kremlin needed to present believably high levels of support to ensure Putin’s mandate. Shortly after polling centers closed on Sunday night, Putin appeared to be on target to achieve the desired 65 percent turnout.”

Where does that leave us? It is reasonable to think that Trump and his cronies will follow Putin’s example. We experienced sneaky election interference by Russia in the 2016 races. I am quite confident that in this year’s elections, the interference and outright fraud will become overt. Not only that, but it will be perpetrated by members of our own administration and government. It will be perpetrated by people right here in America.

Think about that for a minute. The American electoral experience is going to get much worse before it gets any better.
