On Sept. 16, Donald Trump finally acknowledged what all have known for years, that President Barack Obama was born in the United States.
Trump announced this in a heavily teased and foreshadowed event intended to promote one of his hotels, and of course the announcement received breathless and extensive news coverage. Trump not apologize for being one of the most vigorous proponents of the false idea that the President was not born in the United States, during his brief speech on the subject Friday, he falsely claimed that Hillary Clinton had started the birther business during the 2008 election.
In this way, Trump stopped telling one lie and started telling a new one.
I am at a loss to understand why CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, etc., allow themselves to be so shamelessly manipulated by the antics of this nonstop liar.
