Let’s consider the Biden Classified Documents scandal.
Late last fall, President Biden’s team found classified docs in Biden’s former office at the Penn Biden Center.
After decades of presidencies without any classified documents turning up where they don’t belong, we have Trump stealing classified documents and refusing to give them back. Then, within a year of the Trump classified document scandal, more classified documents start turning up in an old Biden office and at Biden’s home? This doesn’t seem ridiculously coincidental to anyone??
The Biden team does not know how those docs got there, which is why the Biden team at the White House has been unable to explain why it found these docs at the Penn Biden Center.
Since they discovered those docs, late last year, the Biden team and DOJ have been trying to quietly figure out how they got there.
Subsequently, members of the Biden team have been searching Biden homes and they have been finding more classified documents.
We — members of the public — know that the Biden team found classified documents inside Biden’s office at the Penn Biden Center and at Biden’s residence.
We do not know how the documents were placed there. That is why the DOJ is investigating. Journalists and others should stop asking questions and wait for the investigation to yield answers.
Journalists are frustrated by the White House’s inability to explain how those docs got to the Biden office at Penn, the Biden garage, and inside Biden’s home.
This is because those journalists are making a massive assumption: they assume that the Biden team knows how those docs got there.
Those journalists are wrong.
The simplest explanation: Trump loyalists in the Secret Service and other agencies — who have access to all those locations where the Biden team has been finding them — put them there.
The Trump people are very skilled criminals. They are particularly good at destroying evidence of wrongdoing.
This will make it difficult to prove that Trump loyalists had the docs planted. Those loyalists know Trump admitted to stealing hundreds of classified docs and having them taken to his golf resort in Florida. Trump and those loyal to him also know Trump could go to jail for that crime.
The “Biden classified docs” probably come from the docs Trump stole that the National Archives has said are still missing.
AG Garland knows that the Trump people are very skilled criminals. This is part of the reason why he appointed Special Counsel Hur to investigate.
Proving that the docs were planted — and who planted them —will not be easy. If it were easy, the DOJ would have announced the finding of the docs at the Penn Biden Center and indicted the people who participated in their planting before last week.
The day the news of the discovery at the Penn Biden Center broke, Trump posted an item on his Truth Social describing (not speculating, or imagining, but describing) the contents of the docs found.
But no one had or has since has publicly said what the docs pertain to.
How could Trump know, or even presume to know, the content or topics of the docs — on the day the docs finding was made public — if he was not involved in having them?
Explaining this “Biden Classified Documents” scandal is not especially difficult. Remember Occam’s Razor.
