“Russia has never tried to use leverage over me. I HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH RUSSIA — NO DEALS, NO LOANS, NO NOTHING! Who’s to say what “Russia” means in Trump’s context — the government of Russia, people who are Russian, Russian banks, Vladimir Putin himself? It’s all a little murky. But Trump tried to say that nothing Russian had any leverage over him.
