The second of his victims, Huber, was carrying a skateboard — and may have used it defend himself from Rittenhouse, who had already shot and killed one person, something Huber had seen.
How is this for irony? The Rittenhouse victim who survived, Grosskreutz, is the only victim armed with a gun of his own, which he did not fire at anyone.
