I wonder if Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will soon eliminate all laws over driving.
Honestly, if you use his logic, people should be able to make their own decisions about how fast they want to drive. If someone wants to drive 65 in a subdivision filled with pedestrians, for example, the government should not reduce any driver’s freedom to do so.
Following that logic, the same is true for those annoying laws prohibiting things like murder. If George, for example, thinks that Andrew should die, it is absolutely not the place of government to tell George that he should not make that decision and use his Glock to end Andrew’s life. Let George kill anyone he wants without any consequence — all those laws about murder should be removed from the nooks as soon as possible.
It is only logical.
