Some members of the GOP have said that Democrats are using Christine Blasey-Ford to advance a two-pronged political agenda.
Specifically, these folks have insisted that Democrats want to use Blasey-Ford 1) To harm Trump and 2) To reduce the number of Republicans in the House and Senate after the November 2018 midterms.
Those members of the GOP who have said this argue — some very strenuously — that using people for political purposes is a bad thing.
However, the people who’ve claimed this are the same people who want to use Brett Kavanaugh to advance a two-pronged political agenda: 1) To protect Trump from investigation, indictment or prosecution for a wide variety of crimes and 2) To take away a woman’s right to control what happens to her own body by making safe abortion illegal.
Hypocritically ironic, isn’t it?
