Donald Trump, A Master Of The Obvious

My God, Donald Trump must be the most “mentally limited” candidate ever to run for the United States presidency.

I offer the following as evidence.

After the attack on the airport in Istanbul, Trump couldn’t say anything more than the obvious:

“Many people killed,” he said. Yes, many people were killed.

He went on, saying, “It’s bad.” Yes, it is bad.

Yes, Trump is a master of the obvious.

“We better get tough.” What on earth does “get tough” mean? Trump has offered no constructive proposals that anyone could take seriously.

Example: His proposal that we ban all Muslims from entering the United States is a pointless and unexecutable idea.

For starters, there are Muslims living in European countries, there are people with last names like Abedini and Ghorbani who are every bit as Christian as the Browns and Smiths — Presbyterians in Cleveland — living in Muslim-governed countries, all of whom may have perfectly legitimate reasons to come to the United States for short or long periods, for business or pleasure.

Also, Trump’s ludicrous idea would have had no impact on people like Orlando gunman Omar Mateen, an American citizen who was born in Queens, New York, the same city in which Trump was born.

Donald Trump, as has always been the case when he has opened his mouth, has offered nothing of any serious substance.
